Beige flecked cashmere scarf

A cashmere scarf in beige, flecked, knitted with wide ribs. The yarn measures 15 µm, and that fineness is the whole point of cashmere: warmth that does not come with weight.

At 180 x 50 cm it is long enough to wind twice and wide enough to sit flat inside an open coat rather than bunching at the collar. It is one of several colours knitted in this rib; the rest are with our cashmere scarves.

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water or on your machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, with a detergent made for wool and cashmere. Never tumble dry — press the water out without wringing and dry it flat on a towel. If small pills form where the scarf rubs against a coat, lift them off with a cashmere comb.
