Bottle green cashmere beanie

A beanie in bottle green, knitted in pure cashmere.

It is built to be worn with the rest of the winter layers rather than on its own — a snood, a neck warmer, whatever is already around your neck; the full range sits under knitted hats. The fibre is a 15-micron cashmere quality, among the finer grades, which is what makes a hat this light hold its warmth and stay gentle against the forehead. Care: Air it overnight instead of washing it whenever it is not actually soiled. For a wash, use the wool programme at 30 °C or lukewarm water by hand with a detergent made for wool and cashmere; press the water out without wringing and dry it flat on a towel, never in a tumble dryer.
