Off white blouse in silk and cashmere

An off white blouse in 85% silk and 15% cashmere. Off white is the neutral that does more than white does — it layers under a jacket, over a skirt, or on its own, and it stays quiet next to any colour you put beside it.

The blend is silk-led, so the fabric is light and smooth to the touch, while the 15% cashmere gives it the softness cashmere is bought for. It is a natural base layer for a patterned scarf or a handwoven shawl from our own weaving mill in Nepal.

The cashmere in the yarn comes from Inner Mongolia.

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water with a detergent made for wool and cashmere. Do not rub the fabric or wring it out — press the water gently away and dry the blouse flat on a towel. Keep it out of the tumble dryer and use a steamer or a cool iron. See the care instructions for the details.
