Taupe grey shawl in handwoven cashmere

A shawl in 100% cashmere in taupe, handwoven in basket weave from cashmere fibre measuring 15 µm.

Basket weave, or plain weave, is the simplest of the weaving structures — warp and weft crossing one over and one under in an even criss-cross. At 70 x 200 cm the shawl gives enough length to wrap twice around the neck or to leave hanging open over a coat. See the whole basket weave range.

Care: Cashmere seldom needs washing — air the shawl outdoors overnight instead. When you do wash it, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on the wool programme at 30 degrees.
