Beige tartan scarf

A tartan scarf in pure lambswool, woven in twill and finished in beige. Twill runs the threads in diagonal lines rather than straight over-and-under, so part of the pattern sits in the weave itself and not only in the colours.

At 180 x 25 cm this is a slim scarf: long enough to loop or knot, narrow enough to sit close at the neck under a coat collar. You will find more like it among our scarves.

Care: Air it outdoors overnight rather than washing it whenever you can. When a wash is needed, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere – hand wash in lukewarm water, or use your machine's wool programme at 30 degrees – and dry it flat, never in the tumble dryer.
