Petroleum blue jacquard woven cashmere/silk shawl

A blend of 60% cashmere and 40% silk, woven in jacquard. The cashmere brings the warmth and the silk the smooth fall, and a fibre thickness of 15 µm keeps the cloth light in the hand rather than bulky.

The colour is petrol blue, and the pattern is woven into the fabric, not printed on it — jacquard weaving makes the motif part of the cloth, and the woven surface catches the light as the shawl moves. At 70 x 200 cm it can be worn open over a coat, folded double around the neck, or across the shoulders indoors, where a shawl of this weight does the work of a light extra layer.

Care: Wash by hand or on a wool programme at 30 °C using a detergent intended for wool. Keep it out of the tumble dryer, dry it flat on a towel, and steam rather than iron it. See our washing and care page.
