Petrol blue yak scarf

Everything we weave in yak comes from our own mill in Nepal, where the yarn is set up and the cloth hand-woven on the loom. This scarf is pure yak wool, in petrol blue.

Yak belongs to the luxury fibre family with cashmere and merino. It is woven here in a twill — the weave that runs a fine diagonal through the cloth — and finished at 70 x 200 cm, which is stole width: a scarf at the neck, or a wrap across the shoulders.

Care: Most of the time, airing the scarf outdoors overnight is all it needs. For an actual wash, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, and avoid rubbing the wool. Never tumble dry it, never wring it, and dry it flat on a dry towel. Our washing and care page has the detail.
