Cashmere scarf in blue spray pattern

A scarf in 100% cashmere, woven in twill and finished in a blue spray pattern. Twill is what gives the cloth its fine diagonal line and a little more body than a plain weave — our weaving page explains how the threads are shifted to produce it.

The size is 200 x 70 cm: long enough to wind twice around the neck, wide enough to open out across the shoulders instead. It belongs to our spray pattern series, which is woven in several colours.

Care: Cashmere rarely needs washing — airing the scarf outdoors overnight is usually enough. When it does need a wash, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees. Never rub or wring it; press the water out, dry it flat on a towel, and keep it out of the tumble dryer. The full routine is on our washing and care page.
