Cashmere shawl with star and leopard pattern

A cashmere shawl in black and orange, printed with a star and leopard pattern — two motifs the loom could not weave, laid onto finished cashmere cloth instead.

The cloth is 100% cashmere at 15 micron, woven in basket weave, and it measures 90 x 200 cm. That is shawl width rather than scarf width, which means it can be worn open over the shoulders as an extra layer indoors, or folded double and wrapped at the neck outside.
