Plum colored silk/cashmere poncho

Poncho in plum, in a blend of 85% silk and 15% cashmere. The silk is what you see — the sheen, and the way the fabric falls — and the cashmere is what you feel when the evening cools down.

It is made in one size and weighs little enough that you can bring it on the chance you will want it. An easy piece to wear over what you already have on, and light enough for the warm spring and summer days without leaving you cold when the sun goes. Care: Treat it as the silk garment it mostly is. Hand wash at 30–40 °C with a mild liquid soap, one piece at a time, and keep it away from coarser fabrics in the wash, as the friction wears on silk.
