Curry yellow silk/cashmere poncho

A poncho in curry, made from 85% silk and 15% cashmere. The blend is what makes it work: silk for the lustre and the fluid fall of the fabric, cashmere for warmth without weight.

It comes in one size, so there is nothing to size up or down. Light for the warm months and warm enough for the evenings, easy to dress up or dress down — the sort of accessory that stays useful long after the season it was bought for. The full range is under ponchos in silk/cashmere.

Care: With 85% silk in it, this poncho wants gentle handling. Hand wash at 30–40 °C using a mild liquid soap, wash it on its own, and do not bunch or wring the wet fabric. Press the water out and dry it flat on a cloth. Iron only on the reverse, with a cool iron, while the fabric is still damp. See our page on silk for the longer version.
