Plum coloured neck warmer in cashmere

A plum neck warmer, knitted in pure cashmere. At 15 µm, the fibre is fine enough that the knit stays soft and light while still shutting out the wind at the one place a coat never quite seals.

That is really the whole argument for a neck warmer: a scarf has to be tied, adjusted and retied, while this goes on in one movement and stays there. One size, worn under the collar, and small enough to live in a coat pocket between uses.

Care: Cashmere wants airing more than washing — a night outdoors freshens it. When it does need cleaning, use a wool and cashmere detergent and wash by hand in lukewarm water or on the wool cycle at 30°C, without rubbing. Squeeze rather than wring, dry flat on a towel, and keep it out of the tumble dryer entirely. Any pills can be lifted with a cashmere comb. Full routine in our washing and care guide for cashmere.
