White flecked cashmere neck warmer

A neck warmer knitted in pure cashmere, white with a fine flecked effect running through the yarn so the surface reads as more than a flat white. The fibre measures 15 microns — the fine end of the range cashmere is graded on, and the reason a knit this warm still feels soft against the throat.

A neck warmer does the work of a scarf without the bulk. It pulls on over the head, sits neatly under a coat collar with no ends to tuck in, and stays where you put it whether you are cycling or carrying shopping home. One size.

Care: Air it outdoors overnight when it only needs freshening. When it does need washing, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere — by hand in lukewarm water, or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees — and avoid rubbing the knit.
