Taupe cashmere pom hat with faux-fur ball

A knitted hat in pure cashmere, taupe, finished with a faux-fur pom-pom. Cashmere earns its place in a hat more than almost anywhere else: it keeps the head warm without the weight or the prickle of ordinary wool, and it stays comfortable against the forehead all day.

The yarn is spun from 15-micron cashmere fibre — fine enough that the softness is the first thing you notice. One size, and part of our range of knitted hats.

Care: Airing does most of the work — hang the hat outdoors overnight, out of direct sunlight, and it freshens on its own. When it genuinely needs washing, wash it by hand in lukewarm water with a wool detergent, moving it gently rather than rubbing, and press the water out instead of wringing it.
