Navy blue cashmere beanie with pom

A beanie in pure cashmere with a pom pom on top, in navy blue. The yarn is a fine 15 µm cashmere — the fineness is why a hat this warm can still feel light, and why it can be pulled on over bare ears without the itch of ordinary wool.

Navy is the practical dark: it reads as smart next to a wool coat and forgiving next to a parka. It is made in one size, and sits with the rest of our knitted hats.

The cashmere is from Inner Mongolia.

Care: Air it outdoors overnight instead of washing after every wear. When washing is needed, use the wool programme at 30 degrees, or lukewarm water by hand with a wool-and-cashmere detergent, and do not rub the knit. Dry flat on a towel rather than hanging it wet, and keep it out of the tumble dryer. Pills lift off with a cashmere comb. The full routine is on our care page for cashmere.
