Large beige scarf with thin stripes

A large scarf in pure lambswool, beige with thin stripes. The wool is lambswool — from a sheep's first shearing, so the fibre is finer and softer than that of the fleeces taken later, while still behaving like wool: springy and warm.

At 190 x 70 cm it has the width of a stole and the length of a scarf, so it can be folded once over a coat, wound twice around the neck, or simply laid across the shoulders indoors. Beige is the quiet choice in a wardrobe of dark winter coats. The rest of our wool scarves and shawls are in wool.

Care: When the scarf only needs freshening, air it outdoors overnight. For a wash, use a detergent intended for wool, by hand in lukewarm water or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, and do not rub the fabric — rubbing risks felting the wool.
