Large grey scarf with thin white stripes

A large scarf woven in pure lambswool, in grey with thin white stripes. Lambswool comes from the lamb's first shearing, and that first fibre is finer and softer than ordinary sheep's wool – which is why a scarf with this much cloth in it still feels light around the neck.

At 190 x 70 cm the width is generous, closer to a stole than to a narrow scarf: wide enough to fold double and loop at the throat, or to open out over the shoulders when the wind turns. The grey ground with its fine white stripes stays quiet enough to wear against a suit or a winter coat without competing with either. There is more woven wool in our wool scarves.

  • Composition: 100% lambswool
  • Colour: Grey with thin white stripes
  • Size: 190 x 70 cm

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water, or on your machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, using a detergent intended for wool and cashmere. Do not rub the wool while washing, never tumble dry, and dry the scarf flat on a towel rather than hanging it wet, or the water will pull it out of shape. The full instructions are on our washing and care page.
