Dip-dye shawl in golden/orange

A dip-dyed shawl in golden and orange, dyed so the two colours blend into one another instead of meeting at a border. It is woven from 100% cashmere at 15 µm — the fibre fineness that lets a shawl this size stay light enough to forget you are wearing it.

The weave is twill, which is what gives the cloth its drape and its willingness to stay where you drape it. At 90 x 200 cm it covers the shoulders open, wraps twice around the neck doubled, and still packs down small enough to keep in a bag for the evening.

Care: Airing it outdoors overnight will handle most of what a shawl picks up. When it needs washing, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on the wool programme at 30 degrees, and do not rub the fabric.
