Knitted cashmere scarf in taupe

Knitted rather than woven, in pure cashmere. The yarn measures 15 micron, the fine end of the range cashmere is graded on, and the loops of a knitted structure give the cloth more give than a woven one has.

At 70 x 200 cm there is length to loop it twice at the neck and width enough to leave it open across the shoulders indoors. The colour is taupe.

Care: Cashmere prefers airing to washing, so hang it outdoors overnight, out of direct sunlight, when it only needs freshening. When it does need a wash, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees. Avoid rubbing the cloth, skip the tumble dryer entirely, and dry it flat on a dry towel rather than hanging it wet. Full instructions are on our care page.
