Knitted cashmere scarf in light grey

70 x 200 cm of knitted cashmere, in light grey. Those are wrap proportions as much as scarf proportions — the width covers both shoulders, and the length still lets you wind it twice at the neck and knot it.

The cashmere is pure and measures 15 µm at the fibre, which is what gives it its softness and its warmth for so little weight. Knitted rather than woven, the fabric has give in it: it stretches, springs back, and settles into folds instead of lying flat. Made in Nepal, where we run our own mill.

Care: Hand wash cool with a cashmere or wool detergent, press rather than wring, roll in a towel to take out the last of the water and dry flat. Store it folded rather than on a hanger so the knit does not stretch out of shape. Full guidance is on our cashmere care page.
