Checkered cashmere scarf in blue/grey/white

A check has to be woven rather than printed: the colours are set up in the warp and repeated in the weft, and the squares appear where the two cross. This one is blue, grey and white.

The cloth is half cashmere and half wool, with a fibre diameter of 15 µm, in a twill weave. It measures 70 x 200 cm and weighs 142 grams, and it is hand-woven at our own weaving mill in Nepal.

Care: Air the scarf outdoors overnight rather than washing it after every wear. When it needs washing, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, and avoid rubbing it so the wool cannot felt. Never tumble dry it, never wring it, and dry it flat on a dry towel. Pills where it rubs against a coat come off with a cashmere comb — the full guide is on our washing and care page.
