Navy and blue square cashmere scarf in dip dye

Dip dye in navy/indigo: one shade dyed into the next, with no hard line where they meet. Under the colour it is pure cashmere, woven in twill — the diagonal parallel rib the weave is known for.

The square measures 140 x 140 cm, enough to fold into a triangle over a coat collar or to wear open around the shoulders. At 15 microns the yarn is fine enough that a cloth this size drapes rather than bulks.

Woven by hand at our own weaving mill in Nepal. The other sizes and colourways are in square scarves.

Care: Cashmere keeps best with airing rather than washing — overnight outdoors, away from direct sunlight. When it does need a wash, use a wool and cashmere detergent, lukewarm water by hand or the wool programme at 30 degrees. Avoid rubbing the cloth, skip the tumble dryer entirely, and dry it flat on a towel. See our washing and care instructions.
