Orange and fuchsia square cashmere scarf in dip dye

A square in pure cashmere, woven in twill so the cloth carries the classic diagonal rib. The yarn measures 15 microns, the fine end of the range cashmere is graded on, and that fineness is what lets a square this large stay soft instead of substantial.

At 140 x 140 cm there is room to fold it on the diagonal and knot it loosely at the neck, or to leave it open across the shoulders indoors. The colour is dip dyed in fuchsia/coral, so one shade is dyed into the other rather than meeting it at a hard line.

Care: Air it outdoors overnight, out of direct sunlight, when it only needs freshening. For washing, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere — by hand in lukewarm water, or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees. Never tumble dry: dry it flat on a dry towel rather than hanging it wet, and don't wring it. Full instructions are on our care page.
