Cashmere shawl in blue and brown spray pattern

A cashmere shawl in blue and beige, spray-dyed: the colour is applied to the woven cloth, not to the yarn before weaving, so the two shades meet in the surface of the fabric. The cashmere measures 15 microns across the fibre, which is why 70 x 200 cm of it stays this light.

Two colours in one piece makes it an easy one to place — blue picks up denim and navy, beige sits with camel and brown coats. Wound at the neck it reads as a scarf; opened across the shoulders it reads as a wrap.

Care: Air it rather than wash it whenever you can. Otherwise hand wash in lukewarm water or use the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees with a wool and cashmere detergent, then dry it flat on a dry towel. Never tumble dry. See our washing and care instructions.
