Brown herringbone scarf

A herringbone scarf in pure lambswool, in brown. Lambswool is the lamb's first shearing, and the fibre it yields is finer and softer than ordinary sheep's wool – the scarf keeps you warm without adding bulk under a coat.

The scarf measures 190 x 35 cm, the length that lets you loop it and still leave the ends free, on a width narrow enough to sit neatly at the collar. Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water, or on your machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, using a detergent intended for wool and cashmere. Avoid rubbing the wool, never tumble dry, and dry the scarf flat on a towel so it keeps its shape. The full instructions are on our washing and care page.
