Black flecked rib knitted cashmere hat

A rib knitted hat in pure cashmere, black with a flecked finish. The rib is what gives the knit its stretch, so the hat closes around the head rather than sitting on top of it, and the cashmere — a fine 15 µm yarn — keeps it gentle where it meets the forehead.

Warm and light at the same time, it is the small accessory that quietly decides whether a walk in the cold is a pleasure or something to get through. One size, and it works alongside a snood or a neck warmer in the same yarn.

Care: Wash it by hand in lukewarm water, or on the wool programme at 30 degrees, with a wool and cashmere detergent. Never tumble dry; dry it flat on a towel instead.
