Navy cashmere scarf with golden stripes

A scarf woven from 50% cashmere and 50% wool, navy blue with golden stripes. The blend brings cashmere together with wool, and at a fibre thickness of 15 µm the yarn sits at the fine end of the scale — which is what keeps the cloth light for the warmth it gives.

The scarf measures 200 x 70 cm and is woven in twill, the diagonal construction described on our weaving page. Golden stripes on navy is one of several combinations in our checkers and stripes selection.

Care: Both fibres in this scarf are animal hair, so treat it as you would pure cashmere: air it rather than wash it when you can, and use a detergent made for wool — never a biological or enzyme detergent, which breaks down protein fibres. Hand wash in lukewarm water or use the wool programme at 30 degrees, dry the scarf flat on a towel, and skip the tumble dryer. Our washing and care page has the details.
