Blue tartan shawl in cashmere and silk

A blue tartan shawl woven from 60% cashmere and 40% silk. The cashmere side of the blend gives the warmth and the softness against the skin; the silk adds strength and a subtle sheen.

Woven in twill from 15 micron cashmere, it measures 70 x 200 cm — the classic scarf-and-shawl length, which takes a double loop at the throat under a coat or hangs open over a jacket. Blue tartan is the easy one to own: it goes with denim as readily as with a wool coat. See the rest of the pattern range in tartan scarves.

Care: Both fibres prefer a gentle wash: by hand, in cool water, with a detergent made for wool and cashmere. Do not wring it — press the water out in a towel and dry the shawl flat, out of direct sun. Our washing and care instructions cover it fully.
