Beige flecked cashmere snood

A snood knitted in pure cashmere, in a flecked beige. Cashmere is among the finest natural fibres there is, and this yarn measures 15 µm — fine enough that the knit sits softly against the neck and stays light to wear while still holding the warmth in.

A snood is a closed loop: no ends to tie, nothing to tuck in, nothing to leave behind on the bus. Worn singly it falls slouchy around the neck; doubled it becomes a close second collar; pulled up it covers the head as well. It can be matched with a knitted hat or a beret. One size.

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water, or on the wool programme at 30 degrees, always with a detergent made for wool and cashmere. Never tumble dry — press the water out gently and dry the snood flat on a towel. Small pills where the knit rubs against a coat can be lifted off with a cashmere comb.
