Oversize tartan scarf in brown

An oversize tartan scarf in brown, in pure lambswool woven in Scotland. The measurements are what set it apart: 190 x 70 cm, wide enough that the scarf can be worn open across the shoulders as a wrap, or folded down the middle for a deep, warm collar at the neck.

Lambswool is the first fleece a sheep gives, and it is finer and springier than the wool that follows. That spring is part of why it is warm — the crimped fibre holds air, and the air does the insulating.
