Fuchsia wool scarf with printed stars

Pure wool in fuchsia, printed with stars. Printing reaches patterns that conventional weaving cannot – stars among them – because the design is laid across the finished cloth rather than built into it.

180 x 70 cm is a size that does double duty: a wrap across the shoulders indoors, a scarf wound twice at the neck outdoors. More of the same in printed scarves.

Care: Wool wants airing more often than washing – overnight outdoors, out of direct sunlight. For a wash, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere, lukewarm water by hand or the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, and dry it flat on a towel rather than in the tumble dryer.
