A herringbone scarf woven half and half in cashmere and wool: 50% cashmere for the softness, 50% wool for structure and warmth. The cashmere is 15 µm fibre, the fine end of the scale.
At 70 x 200 cm and 240 g this is a substantial winter scarf — long enough to wrap twice and still hang, wide enough to drape open over a coat. The colour is white/grey, and the herringbone is woven into the cloth rather than printed on it.
Woven by hand at our own weaving mill in Nepal. If you want the same fibre in a different weave, see the rest of our cashmere scarves.
Care: Air it between wearings rather than washing it. When it does need a wash, use a wool detergent and either hand wash or the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, then dry it flat on a towel — never in the tumble dryer. Our washing and care instructions cover pressing and pilling as well.
