We all know it. When you wear your wool garments, pilling will inevitably appear where the fabric rubs against itself. Typically on the inside of the sleeve that rubs against your cashmere cardigan as you move, but it can also be the outer garment, which may have a rough inner side that makes your sweater look fuzzy.
The pilling shows up as small fuzzy balls stuck to the garment. It does not look very nice, but it can easily be solved with a comb designed to remove pilling. The comb is suitable for all types of wool, and can also be used for cashmere.
You stroke the comb lightly over the pilling so that it just catches. You may need to do it a few times, depending on how much pilling there is, and then your sweater is as good as new.
The comb can be used for both knitwear and woven textiles, and is made of wood and metal, and is easily biodegradable.
