White flecked cashmere beret

A beret knitted in pure cashmere, white and scattered with black flecks. The fibre is graded at 15 microns — our cashmere page explains what that grading measures — and what it amounts to on the head is warmth with almost no weight behind it.

It comes in one size, and a beret is forgiving that way: you place it, and it stays where you put it. Made in Inner Mongolia, and shelved with the rest of our berets.

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water with a wool detergent, or on a wool programme at 30 degrees. Don't wring it — press the water out against a towel and dry it flat rather than hanging it, so the knit keeps its shape. Never tumble dry. The full routine is on our washing and care page.
