Burgundy flecked cashmere beret

A beret knitted in pure cashmere, in burgundy with a flecked surface. The yarn is spun from 15 µm cashmere – the fine end of the fibre range, and the reason a hat this light still holds its warmth on a cold morning.

The rib knit gives the beret its shape and enough give to sit softly rather than grip, and it comes in one size. Worn straight it reads classic; pulled a little to one side it takes on more character. The deep burgundy, broken up by the flecked surface, sits more easily against a winter coat than a flat solid colour does. See the rest of our berets.

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water, or on your machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, using a detergent intended for wool and cashmere.
