Cashmere scarf in natural grey and black

The same construction as its brown twin, in natural grey and black: pure cashmere of 15 microns, handwoven as a basket weave — warp and weft crossing one over, one under, with nothing else added to hold the cloth together. That is what makes a stole of this size weigh so little in the hand.

70 x 200 cm is a size that behaves in two ways. Wound twice around the neck it sits inside a coat collar; opened out it covers the shoulders and upper arms. Grey against black is the version to reach for if your outerwear is already dark and you want texture rather than contrast.

Care: Air it rather than wash it when you can. When a wash is needed, use a wool and cashmere detergent — hand wash in lukewarm water or the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees — and dry it flat on a dry towel. Never tumble dry. See washing and care instructions.
