Two coloured yak scarf in natural brown/petrol

Yak wool belongs to the same family of luxury fibres as cashmere, and it brings a character all its own: warm, substantial, and quietly matte where cashmere is fine. This scarf is woven in pure yak wool in two colours — natural brown and petrol blue.

At 70 x 200 cm it works looped at the neck or left open across the shoulders, and at 225 g it has enough body to stay where you put it. The binding is twill, one of the classic weaves described on our weaving page.

Care: If it is not actually dirty, air it outdoors overnight rather than washing it. When it does need a wash, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere — by hand in lukewarm water, or on the machine's wool programme at 30 °C — and dry it flat on a towel rather than in the tumble dryer.
