Natural grey brown yak scarf

Yak wool belongs to the same luxury fibre family as cashmere and merino, and this scarf is woven from pure yak — no blend, no filler. At 225 grams it carries real substance for its size, the kind of weight that stays where you put it instead of drifting loose through the day.

The weave is twill, whose diagonal structure lets the cloth fold softly rather than sit flat. At 200 x 50 cm it is a proper scarf length — long enough to loop and still hang, narrow enough to sit under a coat collar. The colour is a natural grey brown.

Care: Yak is a wool fibre and asks for the same handling as cashmere. When the scarf is not actually dirty, air it outdoors overnight rather than washing it. When it does need a wash, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere — by hand in lukewarm water, or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees — and avoid rubbing, which risks felting the wool.
