Multi coloured cotton scarf

A multi coloured stole in 100% cotton. Cotton takes colour cleanly and breathes well, so a scarf like this works as a summer layer as readily as a winter one, and it is the quickest way to put colour into an outfit that is otherwise plain.

At 200 x 100 cm it is stole-sized: wide across the shoulders, long enough to fold lengthways and knot at the neck. Wear it open over a dress, wound over a coat, or keep it in a bag for the evenings that turn cooler than the day promised.

Care: Wash it gently in cool water with a mild detergent — with several colours in one cloth, wash it on its own the first time. Keep it out of the tumble dryer so it holds its size, dry it flat or on a line away from strong sun, and iron it warm while still slightly damp.
