Cashmere scarf in gray spray pattern

A handwoven cashmere scarf in grey, patterned by spraying the dye onto the cloth — a technique that gives every piece its own expression. The ground weave is a twill, and the cashmere is a fine 15 µm quality.

At 70 x 200 cm it covers a lot of ground: a scarf worn long, a neck scarf doubled over, or a wrap across the shoulders when a room turns cold. It is woven on authentic handlooms at our own weaving mill in Nepal, where almost every step is done by hand. Other colours in spray pattern.

Care: Pure cashmere asks for very little: air it outdoors overnight and it is usually fresh again. For a real wash, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on a wool programme at 30 °C. Never tumble dry it, do not wring it, and dry it flat on a dry towel rather than on a hanger, where the weight of the water can pull it out of shape.
