Checkered cashmere scarf in blue

A checkered scarf in pure cashmere, handwoven in our own weaving mill in Nepal from 15 µm yarn. The ground is twill weave, which is what gives the cloth its diagonal structure and its drape.

The checks are in blue, and the colour combination is the kind that sits easily beside the rest of a wardrobe rather than competing with it. At 70 x 200 cm the scarf covers the usual three jobs — scarf, neck scarf, wrap — and at 115 grams it has a touch more substance than our lighter shawls.

Care: Air it overnight rather than washing it after each wear. For washing, use a wool and cashmere detergent — hand wash in lukewarm water, or machine wash on the wool programme at 30 degrees.
