Cashmere scarf in beige/white melange

Pure cashmere, spun from fibre measuring 15 microns. That figure is the whole story of the material: it is the fineness that separates cashmere which merely feels soft in the hand from cashmere you can wear against the skin all day. The colour is a beige/white melange.

The weaving pattern is basket weave, and at 70 x 200 cm this is a generous stole rather than a slim scarf — wide enough to wear open across the shoulders, long enough to wind twice when the weather turns. It weighs 135 grams, so it packs down small and travels well.

Care: If the stole is not dirty, simply air it outdoors overnight — that is enough most of the time, and it is gentler than washing. When it does need washing, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on your machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, and do not rub the fabric. Dry it flat on a dry towel rather than hanging it wet, and never tumble dry it. The full method is on our washing and care page.
