Black cashmere cardigan

A cardigan in pure cashmere, in black. Cashmere is the reason a cardigan can be genuinely warm and still light enough to keep on all day indoors — the fibre traps air rather than relying on thickness, and at 15 µm this one is fine cashmere by any measure.

Black makes it the most useful layer in the wardrobe: it goes over a dress as readily as over a shirt, and it is the piece you reach for when a room is colder than the weather outside. Our other cashmere cardigans offer the same knit in softer tones.

Care: Air it between wears — cashmere recovers well and rarely needs frequent washing. When it does, use a wool detergent and hand wash in lukewarm water, or use the wool cycle at 30°C, without rubbing.
