Black pashmina stole in basket weave

A black pashmina stole in pure cashmere, 70 x 200 cm and just 56 grams. The fibre measures 15 µm, the fineness that gives cashmere its softness against the skin.

It is woven in basket weave, also known as plain weave: the weft passes over one warp thread and under the next, then reverses on the way back, so the threads form a simple criss-cross. In plain black it goes under a coat collar as easily as it drapes over a dress, and it sits alongside the rest of our plain coloured scarves and stoles.

Care: Air the stole outdoors overnight rather than washing it after every wear. When it needs a wash, use a wool and cashmere detergent, by hand in lukewarm water or on the wool programme at 30 degrees, and avoid rubbing the cloth.
