Light merino wool scarf in blue

A light scarf in pure merino wool, in blue. Merino is the fine end of sheep's wool – thin enough in the fibre to sit softly against the skin, and warm without the bulk a coarser yarn brings.

At 190 x 50 cm it is wider than a standard scarf, so it falls open across the shoulders as readily as it knots at the neck. That combination of width and light wool makes it a scarf for the in-between months rather than deep winter, which is why you will find it in our Summer/Spring selection.

Care: Merino wants the same gentle handling as cashmere: wash by hand in lukewarm water or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, using a detergent intended for wool and cashmere.
